Today students worked on eclipse diagrams. They were given a Type 3 assignment to complete 2 diagrams (one solar, one lunar). Here is the paper that was handed out:
Students will have until Monday to complete the diagrams, with class time being given on Monday for this. If they choose to work on this over the weekend, that is fine as well. Here are some pictures from today’s class.

I like the project in science class its very fun. I like doing it because it helps me understand the eclipes better! HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!!!!!!!!

Today in class we started our eclipse diagrams. U draw 2 diagrams 1 about the solar eclipse and 1 about the lunar eclipse. U need to describe what happens during the eclipse. (ex.the solar eclipse happens during a ___ moon) And label the things such as moon, earth and sun.

Mr.Bent i know why the moon is red during a luar eclpise!!! It is because the Earth block most of the sun’s light. Then only a small fragment gets to the moon creating the illusion that the moon is red.

In class we did eclipse diagrams. The 2 eclipses are the lunar eclipse and the solar eclispe. Personaly i think the solar eclipse is more interesting. We had to label everything like earth, sun, moon, lunar eclipse, solar eclipse, penumbra, and shadows.
